Take Me to the Mountains
Take me to the mountains, friend,
To forests evergreen.
Bury my feet in ashen sand.
Bottle the Pacific breeze.
Light a fire here between
The sea and you and me.
Sing your song of revelation,
Your praises to the Earth.
Lie with me beneath the stars,
‘Til we return to dirt.
Alexandria Stone is a 23-year-old writer living in Central Illinois with her husband and four cats: Ginger, Carrot, Dusk, and Nola, who is the newest addition.
Were she not social distancing, not a lot would change. Her two biggest hobbies, reading and writing, don't require much company. She does, however, enjoy doing said activities in a coffee shop every now and then. Alexandria also enjoys listening to music almost incessantly and spending time in nature. She is a fanatic of The Office and hopes to one day own a house and land in the Pacific Northwest.
